With the kids going back to school, it's always nice to have a healthy snack or can pack in their lunch or for an after-school snack.  Dried fruit is unbelievably simple to make and lasts for weeks, so you have a delicious, crunchy treat any time you want!

For all of these dried fruit snacks, cut the fruit into ½-inch thick slices, and arrange on a parchment-lined baking tray.

Mango
Bake this fruit for a slightly sour and sweet snack.

Bake 2–­3 hours at 185°F.

Orange
Oranges are packed with fiber and other nutrients, making these chewy chips as healthy as they are tasty.

Bake 8 hours at 160°F.

Banana
One of the most popular fruits for its high levels of potassium, banana chips are a great replacement for less healthy, fried varieties.

Bake 3 hours at 200°F.

Strawberry
This fruit maintains all its sweetness throughout the baking process, so you can consider this snack a healthier alternative to candy.

Bake 12 hours at 160°F. 

Pineapple
